Weroes users are invited to help us ensure the safe operation of this platform by reporting any abuse they are witness to. Warning, a difference of opinion does not automatically qualify as abuse! We ask you to be specific in your description, it will help our team assess the situation that much faster. If the reported content violates a community rule, it will be removed and the author will receive a warning. If it involves language or behaviour that goes against our community rules, the abusive member’s Weroes account may be terminated.
We identify the difference between types of abusive content and present answers according to our assessment of the severity of the abuse:
1. Correctness of language
Sometimes our words get away from us. If we think the language used to describe a claim is inappropriate, especially if littered with unnecessarily violent statements, we will ask the author to make corrections.
2. Warnings
If the author ignores our requests, or if the language in question violates our core rules, we reserve the right to remove the incriminating content. This person will receive a warning email stating that repeated violations could result in the suspension of their account. If the author ignores our email and posts more content that violates our standards, they will receive a final warning and their account will be terminated.
3. Immediate exclusion
If a user tries to use Weroes to spread hate propaganda or to openly incite violence, we reserve the right to immediately suspend their account and remove all incriminating content.
Recourse
If a user feels that his or her content was unfairly declared abusive, they may request arbitration. In this case, the request is sent to our ethics committee who will review the decision.
